Last week, on the 1st of December, at the UEM in Villaviciosa de Odón, we had the presence of Mr. Anssi Pajama from Satakunt University in Finland, to present a workshop about Effectual Entrepreneurship.
Mr. Pajama worked for Nokia first, then he started working for a school where he used to teach a lot of subjects, but mostly related to Logistics.
Entrepreneurship is really important in our lives, even if you work for someone else, it is something that you have to know about.
Mr. Pajama talked about some entrepreneur principles, and three of them interested me more.
- Bird in hand principle: Start with what you have. Don't wait for the perfect opportunity. Start taking action, based on what you have readily available (Who you are, what you know and who you know).
- Lemonade principle: Embrace what comes from uncertain situations, ramaining flexible rather than tethered to existing goals.
- Affordable loss principle: Evaluete opportunities based on whether the downside is acceptable, rather than on the attractiveness of the predicted upside. Always put a limit, how much are you willing to invest?

Thank you!
